See you later alligator.

Hi there I thought I'd better let everyone know that I'm feeling much better now. Last week when I had my wound drained, I was very poorly for a couple of days, my tummy was very red and sore. Mummy said we just had to have lots of rest and quiet, so, no walks or doing mad things like digging in the garden or rough games, like trying to rip my bed to pieces. We had what mummy calls 'snuggle days' we curled up in mummy's bed and she watched lots of TV while I snoozed, it was very cosy. Course,  I don't like to make daddy jealous, so I snuggle with him in the evening. We went back to the Dr's a few days later and she was pleased to see that I looked heaps better. On Saturday daddy and mummy took me for a little stroll to the beach, that's my favourite place, and we stopped at the Shack for a treat. I didn't overdo it though and I was quite happy to just sit and watch the world go by. During all this rotten illness, I haven...

No Tears Left To Cry.

Crikey, what a right ole time I'm having lately. Last time I posted, we weren't sure if I needed an operation. Mummy decided to take me to a new Dr to get a second opinion. The new Dr was lovely and kind, although she did hurt me a bit. She made a cut in my tummy and flushed it with a syringe. She told mummy to put manuka honey on my wound and I thought, yum yum, I can lick that, but mummy told me no, so I was a bit disgruntled about that. A couple of days later, we went back to see the Dr, I was very excited because last time I got lots of duck treats. The Dr said I looked like a very well little boy and that my wound was healing nicely. Great I thought, business as usual then, let's get down the beach and hopefully the pub later, maybe even see the kids at the Chinese takeaway and beg for a bit of their tea, quite frankly I was bored of all that convalescing. So, I had a nice time for a few days, I went to see a band, had a chat with my friend the swan, altho...

Accident Prone.

I'm getting to be quite a little regular at my vets. I've had another accident. Something pierced my tummy last week, well, I do like to get in amongst it, especially the big bamboo bush at the park and bamboo is terribly sharp. Mummy and daddy had to take me to the vets and she poked the tweezers into my tummy, I tried to be brave, but I cried a bit. I had to come home with lots of tablets to make me better, but I was really poorly for a couple of days, so back to the vets we went. When we went back a third time, the vet said I wasn't getting better and I might have to have an operation, I hope not. Mummy says I'm a constant worry, she worries about my disabled leg, but Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, who is the bestest vet ever, said that I've learnt to live with my disability. I once swallowed a chewy thing whole and nearly died, I had to have a operation to make me better. But that didn't put me off and I still eat almost anything I can get my...

Dirty Rascal.

Hi everyone I hope you've had a lovely week, I have. We've had more hot weather which means mummy and I go to the beach, I prefer the beach to the park because I can run like billy-o and splash about in the sea if I get too hot. The park is okay, but once I've had a sniff around, marked my territory and snapped at a few dogs, just to let them know who's in charge, I get hot, bothered and bored. I love dunking my head in the water and fishing out stones, but best of all, I love rolling around in any dirt I can find when I'm wet. I was a bit naughty though because I ran on ahead of mummy and found a family having a picnic, I was so excited by all the sandwiches and sausage rolls that I peed up the lady's handbag. She was quite cross and mummy was very embarrassed. Nevertheless, we still went to The Shack for our own little picnic. We've been going to Bert's rather a lot because there's decorating and all sorts to do. T...
