Hello my lovely friends, I've had a rather traumatic week I'm sorry to say. Everything was going great....... I had a smashing weekend, mummy and daddy took me for a long walk through the countryside and we visited a pub, which is believed to be the oldest in Hampshire, for our lunch. We visited an old church and I frolicked amongst the snowdrops, I do love a good old frolic. And the next day I had fun on the beach, especially when I found some sandcastles that needed investigating. I even saw my best friend, George, for the first time in ages, I was so pleased, I just rolled over and let him dominate me. Unfortunately, Duchess muscled in and George got cross, he's a bit possessive like that and doesn't like it when other dogs interfere with our bromance. On top of all that, the postman delivered a parcel for me and it was a new fluffy basket with my name on it! I went through the usual 'new things' ritual, I flicked it a...

#Tell Me You Love Me.

Hello again, It was my second birthday last Friday so officially I'm a big boy now, although mummy still keeps calling me her baby boy and smothering me with kisses, which does nothing for my street-cred. I got some lovely new toys, one of them quacks like a duck, at first I wasn't too sure about it, but once I got the hang of it, I couldn't put it down. In the end, mummy confiscated it because the noise drove her wild, now I'm only allowed to play with it for a little while at a time, mummy prefers it if I play with the new teddy bear, but he's boring, so I hang on to my quack-quack toy for dear life. We thought we'd have a little sort through my toy box and decide if some of my toys could be put away in the cupboard, mummy said I have too many toys and even with all those toys, I still prefer playing the cushion or the rug game. I love digging into the rug because I'm sure there's buried treasure underneath it and I like biting and flicki...

Judgement Day.

Hi everyone, Me again. I'm afraid I've been a bit poorly this week. I'm generally not a sickly dog, but on Saturday night I was sick on mummy's posh Kylie Minogue bedding (obviously I wasn't going to be sick in my own basket!) Next day I was right as rain, bobbing around, trying to eat anything that looked vaguely edible, as usual, but then that night I was sick again. Same scenario Monday and Monday night, mummy just can't figure it out? She was very sympathetic at first, but apparently, she's getting rather annoyed because she has to keep washing Kylie. On Tuesday we went to visit my new vet, Jeremy Giles, not about my sickness, but about my disabled leg. Mummy and I loved Jeremy, he's a very clever man and he's going to take X-Rays of my leg and refer them to his friend, Noel Fitzpatrick, he's a super-duper vet and has developed several world-firsts in veterinary orthopaedics. He might be able to invent something to straighten my leg...

God's Plan.

Hi everyone, What a strange week I've had. Firstly, mummy's been a bit cross because we've been let down by the groomers three times! I must admit, even I feel like I'm due for a haircut. I've been watching mummy have her beauty routines and felt quite jealous. Last weekend, mummy said we were going hunting, I got all excited, I love hunting for sticks and fox poo, but it turned out we were house hunting, which is an entirely different thing. Apparently, Bertie isn't going to live with us forever and he wants to buy his own house. Well, we found a lovely place by the seaside that will suit me just fine. We did some exploring and decided we liked the beach and the pier where they sell fish and chips and have lots of fun things for children and doggies to play on. Best of all is a fabulous park with a big lake, I spotted all these things on the lake called swans. I was very excited to go over and introduce myself, but do you know what? A big swan ...
