#ThursdayThoughts
Hello everyone,
Hope you've had a good week.
It's been all go my end I can tell you. Did you know that dogs who molt have fur, whilst dogs who don't molt have hair. I have hair, so like you humans, I have to go to the hairdressers, although it's called the groomers. Mummy has taken me to various groomers but because she's so fussy, none have met with her exacting standards, personally, I don't give a hoot what I look like, as you know I love swimming and rolling in dirt, lets face it I was never going to be a posh, show dog type despite my pedigree.
You might wonder why all the fuss about my haircut, well you have to understand that we shih tzu's have deep roots in royal Chinese history and have lived amongst emperor's and nobility, we are supposed to look regal, not like scruffy urchins.
Unfortunately, one groomer mummy took me to must have thought I was an entirely different breed, she hacked off my tail and made it look like a pineapple, chopped off my lovely long ears and shaved my coat to within an inch of my life, oh how mummy cried.
Anyway, thankfully we've found a lovely lady who knows all about shih tzu's, not least because she has her own beautiful doggie.
Of course I can't have a long coat because of all the mucky mischief I get up to, but mummy still wants me to be a handsome boy.
So, mummy and I want to shout out a big thank you to Monica at Snuffles dog grooming for making me look so gorgeous ♥♥
My sister Diva who lives on the Isle of Wight is very mischievous just like me, this is a photo of her after she has just been groomed, isn't she beautiful.
The other thing mummy is very particular about is my diet, don't mention processed dog food for gawd's sake. This week my treat man, Mark, came with my goodies, lots of delicious biscuits made from lovely things like apples, carrots and sweet potato. I love him so much he can barely get through the door.
Right, I'm off to have a snooze.
See you next week.
Love and woofs
Dino xxxxx
