Perfect.

Hello everyone,

Guess what, I'm in the dog house!! We went to the beach today and I found a dead fish washed up on the shore and I rolled and rolled on it, it didn't even smell of fish, it was that rotten it smelt of putrid eggs and dustbins with undertones of fish, I love that smell. Mummy wasn't best pleased and gave me a big bubbly bath when we got home and sprayed me with my special doggie perfume, which I hate, no worries, we'll be back at the beach tomorrow and I'm sure I'll find something smelly to either roll in, or eat.

I've had a couple of  little hiccups this week, as you know, I'm what mummy calls 'on the spectrum'  I don't worry about common doggie predisposed fears like the smoke alarm going off, or fireworks, thunderstorms, car horns, going to the vets, being left alone, hey, the list goes on, I'm cool as a cucumber with all of that, however, I've got a real problem with things being in the wrong place, that really upsets my equilibrium. So, mummy and daddy were busy in the kitchen, which I mostly ignored, until I went to go and have a lie down in my crate and noticed this bizarre object hanging on the wall. Apparently it was a hoover, but as far as I was concerned it had no business being on the wall and quite frankly I went mad, I barked my head off until daddy removed the offending object.

My other problem is dogs on leads. I love playing with other dogs, the more frisky the better. The trouble is, dogs on leads want to play and be frisky too but their owners keep trying to restrain them and we end up getting tangled up and frustrated and in the end I get a bit irritable with it all.....a bit like mummy who can't understand why people have dogs and drag them round on a lead, after all, we need to socialize like humans. I met a lovely potential girlfriend this week, she really wanted to play but her owner was a nervous Norris and kept pulling her away which made her more hyper and ultimately me more angry.

Apart from that I've had a pretty good week. The weather, typically British, has been a mixture of good and bad. I actually like the wind because the more air blowing over my membrane, the more scent I can detect, it's like pigging out at a high-definition-all-you-can-smell scent buffet.

We also visited mummy's friends who live in a beautiful old farmhouse which is imbued with lovely smells and comfort, I spent my whole time investigating and sniffing around, I'm always most happy when mummy's happy and she's always happy at auntie Gill's.

Of course my favourite thing is playing with mummy with my toys. Sometimes mummy is busy, like cooking, and I have to try endlessly to catch her attention, I just don't understand her sometimes, I offer her every toy in my toy box and she just doesn't respond, in the end I have to get quite cross and bark at her, eventually she always plays the Dino doggie game.

Well, if you feel like following or sharing my blog, feel free. See you next week

Love and woofs
