Get The London Look.

Hi everyone, hope you've had a good week.

How was your Halloween? Mine was a real damp squib. Mummy had me all excited, she dressed me in my bumble bee jumper, which sort of doubled up as a pumpkin outfit, she put all sorts of goodies by the door and kept telling me lots of children would be knocking and giving me treats (mummy had done me a special bowl with my favourite blueberries) we had pumpkins and fairy lights and I sat by the door waiting patiently...... in the end, only next doors children knocked and one of them wouldn't even say hello because he was scared of me apparently. To top it all, I swallowed something I shouldn't have and spent the rest of the night gagging.

Because it's been a bit chilly this week and I've had a haircut, I've rather taken to wearing my jumper, trouble is, mummy was under the false impression that I'd be up for wearing all sorts of silly things. She had the nerve to drag me round the pet shop trying on ridiculous hats, I went along with it because I was preoccupied with all the meaty chunk smells. Stupidly, mummy bought me a flat cap, 'get the London look' which as soon as we got out of the shop I flicked off.

At the weekend we went to a new place, I love trying new places and this was especially exciting because there was a lake full of my favourites.....ducks! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them and was desperate to get in and play with them but daddy had me on a tight leash, apparently, he's got the measure of me, whatever that means?

My brother Bert popped in as usual this week, he comes round for a cup of tea and a chat with mummy, supposedly, but mummy says he never listens to a word she says because he's too busy playing with me. This week he had a bit more time to spare before his next job so I took him to my favourite place, The Shack. I thought I was on to a winner and that Bert would give me a bit of sausage on the sly when mummy wasn't looking. Fat chance, I think Bert's got a bigger appetite than me, he didn't share a crumb, even when I gave him my most endearing look.

The next thing to look forward to is fireworks night, mummy's been worried that I might get scared, but if anything, given the blasted fireworks so far, I get angry. I can't tell you the amount of times I've been all snuggled up in my basket chilling when suddenly there's been an almighty bang and I've had to run out to the garden and bark my head off in anger. Still, at least there should be more action than Halloween.

Well, time to brush my teeth and go to bed,

See you all next week.
Love and woofs,
Dino xxxxxx
