Happy Thanksgiving


Hi everyone,

Hope you've all had a good week. I sure have, although mummy's been a bit cross with me the past couple of days. As you know, I really love eating things, especially treats and there are plenty of people at the park, beach and pub who dish them out if I beg enough. I'm not actually hungry but it's become a bit of an obsession, mummy says she thinks I've got Prada-Willi (there's nothing wrong with my willie although I do lick it quite a lot.) Anyway, I've become so obsessed with humans who may be carrying treats that I can't be bothered to play with my doggie friends. In fact, I've been getting a bit feisty with some of them, pulling my alien face and actually going for their throats. Size doesn't worry me, I made my Newfoundland friend, Bear, leap into the air with fright when he got on my nerves and I went for him.



After I've been naughty I always act like butter wouldn't melt.



Mummy said I'd better buck up my ideas because A: it's embarrassing and B: if I keep scrounging, I'll get fat. Lately I haven't been given my after dinner special biscuit, now I have live Greek yoghurt instead, which, by the way, I love. The problem is I stick my head in my bowl and get my face completely covered in it.


On Sunday we went to the beach to watch a marathon and listen to a drum band. We bumped into my friend Baxter and his mum, Betty. Baxter is worse at going for other dogs, (even me if I don't keep my distance,) than I am. His mummy carries a lovely big bag of treats and he gets all protective over them, which is strange because he spits a lot of them out, but woe betide he catches you trying to pinch them.


On the plus side, I've been very good helping mummy round the house, I always help to bring the laundry down, especially socks, but they never quite make it to the washing machine because I like to hide them in my basket, unless mummy catches me first.



Whatever I get up to though, my mummy says I'm the bestest doggie in the world, I love my mummy ♡♡♡♡

Hi everyone, Well, what an exciting week I've had. A doggy food manufacturer got in touch with me and asked if I would like to be part of their advertising campaign.Trouble is, I don't eat processed dog food because it's often full of nasty things like condemned beef, rancid fat and stuff surplus to human consumption like hooves, tails, testicles and ears and general sweepings from the factory floor. Like humans, what we doggies eat affects our health (and our breath and I for one don't want dog breath.) We doggies have the same digestive system as a grey wolf and grey wolves don't go to the supermarket to buy junk food, they live on prey, fruit and vegetables. I eat a raw diet just like the grey wolf, fortunately I don't have to hunt for it because mummy puts it in my bowl. Hey there, Well it's a quick hello & goodbye this week as I'm very busy getting ready for my holidays. Mummy and daddy are off to Spain, so I'm going to stay with my auntie Jeanie and uncle Keith. I've been to the groomers and had myself spruced up, fortunately this time I didn't have a J Lo cut which makes my bum look big, but my hair is very short, sometimes, I wonder if mummy does it deliberately because she tells daddy that we have to have the heating on full time in case I get cold. Last Saturday, just when we thought spring had arrived, it snowed again! We were at the beach and had to take cover in a lovely café where I made friends with another Shih tzu. He was a bit aloof so I tried to act all grown up when his mummy got out the treats, but you know me, I get all excited and go a bit giddy with it. Hi everyone Do you like the photo of me hiding under the decking? That was taken when I was a baby and mummy says that was a sure sign of things to come. I've always been a mischievous little dog, did I tell you about the time I stuck my head through a barbed wire fence to say hello to some goats? Well, unfortunately I scratched myself on the barbed wire but I didn't cry, even though I bled a little bit. Mummy was none the wiser, but a couple of days later when she was brushing me, she became hysterical and rushed me to the vets. Apparently she thought I had a terrible growth, but the vet just laughed and told mummy "it's only a scab" which she then flicked off with her finger. Daddy wasn't quite so amused as that scab cost him sixty pounds.
