#MakeMeAngryIn5Words
Hi everyone,
What an eventful week I've had. Firstly, for nights on end we've had fireworks going off and mummy says people obviously don't know the nursery rhyme: Remember remember the 5th of November let alone the history of Guy Fawkes. Mummy's had a good old rant about it, especially on twitter, her #MakeMeAngryIn5Words were fireworks and swear words.
I don't bat an eyelid quite frankly, our neighbour had a display to match Alexandra Palace but I slept through it.
That said, I do feel sorry for some of my doggie chums, some of them had a rotten time of it, after all, not everyone's hard like me. Take my little friend Nellie, she is a rescue dog from Romania and suffers with her nerves, she was a street dog and was in such a state when her new mummy rescued her that she had to have her leg amputated. Mind you, she can't half run, mummy says we are an incredible pair once we start chasing each other, what with my disabled leg and her missing one.
My make me angry in 5 words is: mummy tidying my toys away. I generally like to tip my toy box over and spread my toys around after mummy has tidied up in the morning before we go for our walk and then again in the evening when she wants to settle down. So, I've started a new game called the cushion game, mummy likes to plump all the cushions on the chairs and sofa, so I sit and wait quietly in my basket and then when she's not looking I grab them between my teeth and give them a good old shake.
Another make me angry (and mummy too) is people keep saying: "oh your dog has got a limp' or "has your dog hurt his foot?" Like we don't know already. Last week a lady stopped us in the park and said, quite indignantly: "You don't seem to have noticed that your dog has something stuck in his paw and consequently is limping!" We know most people mean well, but, #MindYourOwnBloominBusiness
Last Saturday we had a smashing day out with my brother Bertie and his partner Holly. We went for a very long walk along the historical route taken by Pilgrims from Winchester to Canterbury in Kent (and before you start acting daft, we didn't do the whole route.) We stopped in a beautiful village called Easton to do my favourite, visit the pub.
The weather has been a bit temperamental but it's given me a chance to show off my wardrobe, everyone was very impressed with my bumblebee jumper.
Well, it's been nice talking to you. This coming weekend is my first year anniversary of living with mummy and daddy so I expect they'll have organised all sorts of fun things which I'll tell you about next week. Got to go and suck Daffy Duck because I'm getting tired.
Love and woofs
