Storm Georgina.

Hi everyone, Phew, what a week! We've had Storm Georgina and let me tell you, we barely got round the park it was so blustery. Even without the storm, it's been wet, wet, wet and I've had to have a bath every day. I have to have baths because I like eating mud and if I'm covered in it, I love licking it off, mummy says that's a dirty habit and rushes me home as quickly as possible. A lot of dogs don't like the rain and the mud, I've barely seen any of my friends this week, other than Oswald and Jack. Mummy says sensible owners don't traipse round the park in this weather, but us boys don't care about it, in fact, we had a good old game of chase and l slid around in the mud like no one's business. After a bath, I like to do two things, number one is having some of mummy's toast and a little drop of tea in a saucer. We always have tea and toast after our walk, I especially like sourdough toast because it's very cr...

Truth or Dare.

Hi there, Look what I found, it's called a doorstop and mummy uses it to wedge open a bedroom door, there used to be a bean bag type thing holding the door open, I tried to pull it away once, but it was far too heavy. This doorstep is great, I can pick it up no problem, hide it in my basket when mummy's not looking and then have a good old chew on it. Mummy says I'm outrageous sometimes. This week it's been really wet and cold so we haven't been stopping for our usual snack down on the beach, but hey, you know me, I'm pretty stubborn and one day I decided to sit and wait until someone did sit down. Luckily for me, a really nice chap came by on his bike and took pity on me (I tend to sit holding my bad leg up, I find it works wonders) and shared his lunch with me. I'm a funny boy, a bit contrary mummy says, I quite like a little paddle in the sea, but I don't like puddles. I don't know what it's been like in your park? Mi...

New Rules.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year. Did you have a good Christmas? I did. First of all, it was exciting because you know I used to go and stay with my brother, Bertie, at his house when mummy and daddy went on holiday, well, I won't be doing that anymore because Bertie has moved back to my house. I love it, I'm not supposed to go in Bertie's room, it's 'out of bounds,' but I sneak in there and have a good old rummage around when no one's looking, he leaves all sorts of things laying around which are good for chewing. Talking of chewing, do you like brussels sprouts? Mummy prepared enough to feed an army over Christmas and because I like raw vegetables, she gave me a couple. She also dropped a few whilst preparing them (I think she was on the sherry) anyway, there's only so many sprouts a dog can eat, so I squirreled some away in my basket and behind the curtains, oh and a couple behind mummy's best cushions, mummy was finding sprouts for days on end...
