Tantrums and Tiaras.
Hi everyone
Sorry I didn't post last week, quite frankly I haven't had time to bark.
Last week was all nervous excitement, daddy was on tenterhooks because England were in the semi-finals and mummy was busy toing and froing to Bert's new flat.
Well, match day arrived and I wore my lucky cape and it was all very exciting and.......
We lost :( poor daddy was very upset and so was I, my friend Molly was gutted.
Well, hurrah for England anyway I say! I'd be their lucky mascot any day.
Things were going better mummy's end, she'd been shopping for lovely things for Bert's home and that makes mummy happy. She was very sad when Bert was left with nothing after the break up (shhh pretend I haven't mentioned that) but, she's pleased now because, she told me in secret, it was a load of old junk and she's glad Bert's not lumbered with it, then she laughed (a bit hysterically) aren't humans funny!
This week, mummy's been hit by the poorly train and we've spent a lot of time in bed. She keeps making frightening noises, loud sneezes, nose blowing and coughing, it's really irritating and I do stand back and give her a few dirty looks. But we've had lots of cuddles too.
Daddy's had to look after both of us so he's a bit giddy with it all, but I think he's done a sterling job. We've had a nice bit of 'boys time' doing boys things, like playing the stick game (mummy worries about my teeth and swallowing things.) And splashing about in the river, getting dirty and smelly (mummy likes me to go swimming, but not straight after my groom,) daddy doesn't care ha ha.
And because daddy doesn't cook, we've been going to get takeaways, which means we just have to stop for a pint and a treat.
I'm still enjoying the lovely weather because I'm an outdoorsy little boy.
Well folks, wish mummy well (daddy just said: "for all our sakes")
See you next week
Love and woofs
Dino xxxxxx
