#The Supervet.

Hi everyone, I don't know about you, but I've had a busy week again. Mummy and daddy had the bright idea of visiting Porchester Castle on Saturday, which under normal circumstances would have been wonderful, however, Storm Brian was raging and let me tell you it was pretty hairy, especially as I had to walk over the drawbridge and through the gateway to seismic waves, good job I'm not a scaredy cat, or should I say, scaredy dog. On Tuesday I went to the groomers and while I was there mummy went shopping, she likes to go to The Ark charity shop, The Ark is an animal sanctuary and mummy got her last doggie, Tilly, from there. Mummy still has a photo of Tilly, she looks a bit like me although she was a lhasa apso. When she died, mummy was so heartbroken she said she would never have another doggie, but when she saw my photo online she fell in love and said it was fate. Anyway, mummy likes to shop at the charity shop because the proceeds all go to help the animal...

Hi everyone, Well, it's been a funny old week. Mummy said it was going to be a mini heatwave at the weekend but it turned out to be a bit gloomy, mind you, despite the cloud it was very warm and I dived into the river when we went for our walk on Saturday and I didn't want to come out. Mummy wasn't prepared for that and in the end she had to take off her shoes and roll up her trousers to chase me downstream. When I'm disobedient like that, daddy puts me on the lead which really cramps my style. Hey, the weirdest thing happened on Monday, mummy and I were out walking and suddenly there was this strange phenomenon, the sky darkened to orange and it became eerily silent. We rushed home because mummy thought it was the end of the world and we might as well end it watching reruns of Columbo and eating crumpets. Turns out that storm Ophelia had passed us and red sand and dust from Southern Europe and Africa had been pulled up into the sky, anyway, I've live...

Hello everyone, Guess what, I'm in the dog house!! We went to the beach today and I found a dead fish washed up on the shore and I rolled and rolled on it, it didn't even smell of fish, it was that rotten it smelt of putrid eggs and dustbins with undertones of fish, I love that smell. Mummy wasn't best pleased and gave me a big bubbly bath when we got home and sprayed me with my special doggie perfume, which I hate, no worries, we'll be back at the beach tomorrow and I'm sure I'll find something smelly to either roll in, or eat. I've had a couple of  little hiccups this week, as you know, I'm what mummy calls 'on the spectrum'  I don't worry about common doggie predisposed fears like the smoke alarm going off, or fireworks, thunderstorms, car horns, going to the vets, being left alone, hey, the list goes on, I'm cool as a cucumber with all of that, however, I've got a real problem with things being in the wrong place, that r...

Better watch out.

Well hello there, It's good to be back in the saddle, so to speak. As you know, I've been on my holidays and it was definitely a holiday of two halves I can tell you. I whizzed off with my brother Bertie to stay with him and his girlfriend Holly, my tail up, happy as Larry, didn't give mummy a backward glance and there I spent eleven glorious days. Bertie was mostly working from home so we had a real boy's time together, lots of long walks and swift halves in country pubs during the day, followed by lots of cuddles when Holly came home from work. As you can imagine, I loved every minute of it, especially when a workman came round and left his shoes by the door (I've got a bit of a shoe/slipper obsession so everyone tends to hide them) I snuck off with one of the shoes and hid in a bush in the garden with it, I wasn't going to chew it....honest. Nice as it was, when Bertie started to pack my things into his van, I thought, I'm going home...
